CHC - Amanda B. Markey Memorial Scholarship

Amanda B. Markey Memorial Scholarship – Amanda Breanne Markey was a beautiful, confident, and vibrant young woman, a scholar, and an active contributor to the Crafton Hills College community. As a member of the first cohort of Master Students, she assisted countless students to navigate the complexities of enrollment, and became a spokesperson for the program. Articulate, approachable, and patient, Amanda showed the highest degree of concern and compassion for the students she helped. She completed three Associates degrees in Psychology and Sociology with a 3.95 grade point average in December, 2014 and was working in her beloved CHC Library before transferring to a university. Her goal was to be a school psychologist. Criteria: Awarded to a student who demonstrates scholastic excellence, GPA of 3.0 or higher, and has supported, guided, and empowered other CHC students.

Crafton Hills College
