CHC - Dr. Cheryl A. Marshall Endowed Scholarship for Leadership & Service

Dr. Cheryl A. Marshall has dedicated her career to higher education, beginning as an instructor of undergraduate and graduate courses in management, organizational behavior, and human resource development. She worked at Crafton Hills College for nine years serving as Vice President of Instruction and President. In 2016 she accepted the Chancellorship of the North Orange County Community College District where she established a District-wide Leadership Academy, and provided support for the Anaheim Union Educational Pledge and North Orange Promise Program. Dr. Marshall earned her doctorate of education from USC and her master of arts in industrial/organizational psychology from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). Dr. Marshall’s passion for developing people and organizations has been a primary focus throughout her career. Dr. Marshall established this scholarship in 2018 to recognize and provide support for students who have provided leadership and service while achieving academic success at Crafton Hills College. Students to be selected on leadership roles and involvement both on campus and in the community. This will primarily be determined from the essay responses in their applications.
Criteria: Student who has volunteered in a significant way at Crafton Hills College demonstrating leadership skills, a commitment to the College, and service to others. Student has maintained a GPA at Crafton Hills College of at least a 3.25 and will be continuing his/her studies at Crafton Hills College.
