CHC - Kathy L. Bartel Memorial Scholarship

Kathy L. Bartel Memorial Scholarship – Kathy Bartel, a second-year Respiratory Care student, died September 6, 2001, in a tragic car accident. After raising her two children to adulthood, Kathy decided to return to school and chose the Respiratory Care Program at Crafton Hills College. Although sometimes a struggle, Kathy completed her first year of the Respiratory Care Program and graduated in May 2001 with her Associate in Science Degree in Respiratory Care. Kathy was known for her unceasing devotion to God, her family, her friends, and her goal to be a Respiratory Therapist.
Criteria: Continuing full-time Crafton Hills College student pursuing a course of study in the health profession, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
