CHC - Charlie and Tommi Ng Endowed Scholarship
Charlie and Tommi Ng have served in higher education and dedicated their careers to public service. Charlie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, and a Master of Science in Advanced Management from Claremont Graduate University. Charlie has worked in various public sector positions for over 24 years serving as a Director of Facilities, Vice President of Administrative Services, and Vice Chancellor of Fiscal Services. Tommi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from California State University, San Bernardino and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from National University. Tommi has worked in the public sector for over 17 years serving in various Human Resources positions and is serving as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at the City of Redlands. The two met while working at the San Bernardino Community College District and established this scholarship to provide opportunities to students interested in advancing their education and pursuing work in administration and public service.
Criteria: Business/Public Administration major with career goal of working in education or a gov’t. public service organization; min. 3.0 GPA; student may be continuing or transferring in the fall.
