CHC - Adella Greek Memorial Scholarship

Adella E. Greek attended Crafton Hills College, taking classes between 1973 and 2003. Adella was a life-long learner who was very intelligent, skipping a grade in elementary school and being recommended to skip a second by her teachers. One of nine children, Adella grew up in Fontana, where she met the love of her life, Forrest Greek. Together, they ran a medical transcription service and invested in real estate, moving over 22 times while raising their two children, Kirsten and Ken. Adella’s husband, Forrest Greek, established this fund in 2021 in memory of Adella to provide an annual scholarship for students studying in the child development program at CHC.
Criteria: Awarded to a student in the Child Development Program pursuing a career in developmental education working with young children; must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
