SBVC - Aaron Beavor Memorial Scholarship

Mr. Aaron Beavor was a proud SBVC alumnus who earned two associate’s degrees from SBVC, going on to establish a long and a successful career as a maintenance professional, and then coming back home to work here at his alma mater. He served as Classified Senate President and was twice nominated Classified Employee of the Year.

Aaron was known for his selfless dedication to improving the lives of other people. He was one of the founding organizers of the Classified Senate’s scholarship fundraiser, which is funded primarily through concession sales at our athletics events.

The recipient of this scholarship should be majoring in a technical trade and have a 2.5 grade point average or higher.
