SBVC - Dr. Donald L. Singer Scholarship

Dr. Singer served as president of Crafton Hills College (1982-1990) and as president of San Bernardino Valley College (1990-1997). A contribution was made to the Foundation by the law firm of McPeters, McAlearney, Shimoff and Hatt to establish this scholarship in recognition of Donald L. Singer’s contributions to SBVC and the community it serves. The student selected must have completed his/her first year at SBVC and be returning for a second year. He or she must maintain an overall 3.0 grade point average, be involved in school activities (ASB, inter- collegiate athletics or campus-wide committees) and community service activities (political campaign, community service agency, in service to young people, or public school program).
