CHC - Win and Bette Carl Memorial/Osher Scholars

Win and Bette Carl Memorial/Osher Scholars – Winston and Bette Carl cared deeply about family, education and community. Win was a founding member of the CHC Foundation and served many years as its Chief Financial Officer. He also worked more than 30 years for the San Bernardino Community College District and retired as its personnel officer. Bette Carl, who passed away in 2005, was a teacher and programmer analyst. Win believed in the Osher Foundation community college student scholarship endowment. Just prior to his death in 2010, Win established this Osher scholarship to help Crafton Hills College students forever.
Criteria: Continuing full-time Crafton Hills College English or Literature major; completion of 24 units; California Promise Waiver eligible; recipient should receive no more than one (1) other scholarship from CHC.
