Catholic Charities “Providing Help, Creating Hope” Scholarship – Catholic Charities’ “Providing Help, Creating Hope” Scholarships are intended to invest in low-income students whose education will provide them with opportunities to work in the helping professions, and thereby play a role in strengthening local families and communities in the Inland Counties. These scholarships are offered at numerous institutions of higher education throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. The Catholic Charities’ motto of “Providing Help, Creating Hope” challenges scholarship recipients to do the same in their local communities upon the completion of their education. Recipient must submit a “Thank You Letter’ addressed to the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities is a 501©3 public benefit corporation that provides a range of necessary social services to all persons regardless of religious affiliation throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
Criteria: Continuing full-time Crafton Hills College student; helping professions major; 2.5 GPA; must have completed 12 units at CHC; financial need considered.
