SBVC - The J.C. Danley Award for Excellence in Communication Competence

The scholarship will award $750.00 annually to a Communication Studies major or a person who distinguished themselves in at least two (any two) of the following:
1. Is a Communication Studies major.
2. Displayed excellence in the area of Communication Studies that is worthy of the honor.
3. Contributed or demonstrated excellence in the area of communication competence in their studies, or to their community, or to society.
4. Was instrumental in developing new theories or work progressing along the lines of bettering Communications that the Department feels the scholarship will help in pursuing further endeavors or should be rewarded for their efforts.
5. Showed exceptional improvement of work in the field of communication that the committee feels justified in awarding the scholarship.
