SBVC - The Griffin McNeilly Chemistry Scholarship

Charles Edward Griffin taught at SBVC from 1926 until his death in 1941. He was the first president of the SBVC Faculty Association and was the chair of the science department at the time of his death. This scholarship was established as a bequest from Henrietta Griffin McNeilly (SBVC 1931-32), daughter of Charles and Emma Griffin. A freshman, sophomore or transfer student may be selected who has a 2.5 or better grade point average and is majoring in Chemistry. The selection will be made by the SBVC Chemistry Department.
