Southern California Gas Scholarship – SoCalGas® believes that a well-educated workforce makes good business sense and is essential for a vital and economically healthy Southern California. The SoCalGas Scholarship Program encourages students to pursue higher education following high school or community college. Criteria: Awarded to a student transferring to a four-year institution; pursuing a major in engineering, business, accounting and math will be given priority; minimum 2.75 GPA; community involvement, financial need, and U.S. citizens or legal residents. Children or dependents of elected or appointed officials are not eligible; children of employees of SoCalGas or any Sempra Energy company are not eligible.
