CHC - William A. Rankin, Jr., Memorial Scholarship

William A. Rankin, Jr., Memorial Scholarship – William A. Rankin, Jr., was President of Valve Sales in Montebello. In 1965 he left to establish Rankin-Delux, Incorporated in Santa Fe Springs, which became one of the major manufacturers of restaurant equipment in the industry. In 1993 he sold the business and retired to Cherry Valley but continued as a consultant to the company. He continued in that capacity until his death in 2004, when his wife Nelda established the William R. Rankin, Jr., Memorial Scholarship.
Criteria: Awarded to a Crafton Hills College student continuing to four-year college; U.S. citizen; GPA of 3.0 or higher.
