Colonel Leon H. Berger, USAF, Ret. Memorial Scholarship – Col. (RET.) Leon H. Berger graduated from West Point in 1941, served in the United States Air Force during World War II and retired to Dayton, Ohio after 20 years of service to the military. He taught at the University of Dayton for a short time and then fully retired. The Colonel Leon H. Berger Scholarship was established by his sister Nelda Rankin in 2004.
Criteria: Continuing full-time Crafton Hills College student majoring in education; GPA of 3.0 and financial need should be considered.
