SBVC - Susan Shimoff Excellence in Child Development Scholarship

Susan Shimoff taught courses in family and consumer science and child development for 38 years at SBVC before her retirement in 2009. Susan was committed to excellence in teaching and went above and beyond to give her students a little extra. This scholarship is for students majoring in Child Development who have completed their requirements for the teaching certificate. Recipients must have a 3.5 grade point average, be committed to excellence, and face financial challenges. The Child Development Department selects the recipients.
