SBVC - Fredrick H. Hull, MD & Mildred I. Hull Memorial

Dr. Frederick Hull came to San Bernardino after serving in the U.S. Navy during World War ll. He was an ophthalmologist and the physician on duty in 1954 when Sammy Davis, Jr. was admitted to San Bernardino Community Hospital after a car accident. Dr. Hull performed surgery to remove Sammy’s damaged eye. This scholarship is for students majoring in a health science field, who are transferring to a four year college with a minimum of 60 units and a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
