SBVC - Helen A. Bogatin Memorial

Helen A. Bogatin graduated from SBVC in 1942 and went on to earn her four-year degree at USC. After completing her studies, Helen returned to San Bernardino to work as an English teacher, typewriter instructor and counselor at San Bernardino High School. She is remembered as saying she would do her job for free as she loved it that much. This scholarship is awarded to students who intend to pursue a career as an educator. Students should intend to transfer to a four-year institution and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
