CHC - Peter Laabs Memorial Scholarship

Peter Laabs Memorial Scholarship – Peter Laabs was a student at Crafton Hills College from 1981 until his untimely death in 1984. He was very active in the SAS program and Theatre Arts. Peter will long be remembered at Crafton Hills College for his enthusiastic involvement in theatre productions, especially for his outstanding performance in the lead role of The Elephant Man, using his cerebral palsy condition in his acting. He was a great inspiration to the students and staff of Crafton Hills College.
Criteria: Awarded to a full-time disabled student in good standing; with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
