SBVC - Martha H. López Memorial

Martha Santana Garcia Hernandez de Lopez was a quiet trailblazer. She was a resident of South Fontana and part of the first graduating class of Fontana High School in 1955. She went on to attend SBVC, and after graduating in 1957, she transferred to the university of Redlands and earned her BA and Lifelong Teaching Credential, she started her teaching career in Barstow and Rialto schools, but eventually settled into her position at Jurupa Hills Elementary School, part of the Fontana Unified School District, where she remained throughout her teaching career. She was loved far and wide and will be remembered far and wide.
