SBVC - Florence Peterson Nursing Scholarship

An SBVC professor from 1931-1964, Florence Peterson earned a BA at UC Berkeley, an MA at Claremont Graduate University, and her RN at St. Luke’s Hospital in San Francisco. She was a member of the nursing faculty when the program was a cooperative venture of the college and San Bernardino County Hospital. Peterson concluded her teaching career at SBVC as a librarian. Applicants must be RN students. The scholarship committee of the Everett-Hunter Department of Nursing selects the recipients.
