SBVC - Never Give Up on Your Hopes or Dreams!

The scholarship was created by Shirley Holder, Founder/President of the Duchess of Vonh Castle Sharing, Caring, and Giving of Oneself Foundation. The name of the scholarship is a part of the President’s quote “Never Give Up on Your Hopes or Dreams!”. They may not occur with your timing, but in God’s. A dream is not pursued is a dream wasted. A hope not believed will soon be forgotten. Listen only to ‘can’ and not ‘cannots’. ‘Cannots’ are impediments of success! This scholarship will assist students from low-income families in the county of San Bernardino with books and educational supplies. This scholarship will be awarded to a student that is majoring in Culinary Arts or Social Work with a 3.0 GPA.
