SBVC - Vera Lopez Scholarship Fund

The Vera Lopez Scholarship was originally initiated by the Kiwanis of Greater San Bernardino in December 1984 to honor the memory of Vera Lopez, owner of the Mitla Café. The scholarship was later managed by family members and friends. Initially, scholarships were awarded to local high school students attending college. Over the years, approximately 200 scholarships have been awarded. This scholarship is available to students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
